These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the services offered under the Casa do Pix brand, including services provided through our website, WhatsApp, physical locations, authorized agents, customer support channels, and related platforms.

Casa do Pix Financial LLC, doing business as Casa do Pix, is an authorized agent, service, brand, and registered DBA of Transamericas Services Corporation.

Transamericas Services Corporation is the licensed money transmitter and licensee responsible for regulated money transmission services offered through Casa do Pix where required by law.

Licensing & Regulatory Information

Transamericas Services Corporation is licensed as a money transmitter in the State of New Jersey and is regulated by the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance. Casa do Pix Financial LLC operates as an authorized agent, service channel, brand, and registered DBA of Transamericas Services Corporation under Transamericas’ licensing and compliance structure.

Transamericas Services Corporation and Casa do Pix Financial LLC are registered with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, also known as FinCEN, as money services businesses where applicable. FinCEN registration does not replace state money transmitter licensing and does not represent an endorsement by the federal government.

By using Casa do Pix, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

“Casa do Pix,” “we,” “our,” or “us” means Casa do Pix Financial LLC, doing business as Casa do Pix, an authorized agent, service, brand, and registered DBA of Transamericas Services Corporation.

“Transamericas” means Transamericas Services Corporation, the licensed money transmitter and licensee responsible for regulated money transmission services.

“Licensee” means Transamericas Services Corporation, Money Transmitter License Number #L075949.

“Services” means money transmission, remittance services, payment processing, WhatsApp-assisted financial services, in-person money transfer services, customer support, compliance review, transaction processing, recipient support, and any related services offered by Casa do Pix or Transamericas.

“User,” “you,” or “your” means any person who accesses or uses the Services.

“Recipient” means the person or entity designated to receive funds.

“Transaction” means any request to send, receive, transmit, pay, transfer, exchange, or deliver funds or payment instructions.

2. Relationship Between Casa do Pix and Transamericas

Casa do Pix Financial LLC is an authorized agent, service, brand, and registered DBA of Transamericas Services Corporation.

Transamericas Services Corporation is the licensed money transmitter and licensee for regulated remittance and money transmission services. Casa do Pix operates under the licensing, compliance, and regulatory structure of Transamericas Services Corporation where required by law.

Casa do Pix may provide customer-facing services, branding, marketing, customer support, intake, transaction assistance, technology tools, WhatsApp support, in-person support, and service coordination on behalf of or in connection with Transamericas Services Corporation.

Casa do Pix is not separately licensed as a money transmitter in New Jersey unless expressly stated. Regulated money transmission services are provided by or through Transamericas Services Corporation.

3. No Banking Relationship

Casa do Pix is not a bank. Transamericas Services Corporation is not a bank.

The Services do not create a bank account, deposit account, stored value bank account, investment account, credit account, or fiduciary account unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

Funds transmitted through the Services are not deposits and are not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation unless expressly stated in writing by an authorized banking partner.

4. Eligibility

You may use the Services only if you:

• Are at least 18 years old;
• Have legal authority to enter into these Terms;
• Provide true, accurate, complete, and current information;
• Are not prohibited by law from using money transmission services;
• Are not listed on a sanctions, watchlist, or restricted-party list;
• Use the Services only for lawful purposes;
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws.

5. Services Offered

Casa do Pix may offer or support services including:

• Money transfers from the United States to Brazil;
• International remittance services;
• WhatsApp-assisted money transfer support;
• In-person transaction assistance;
• Recipient payment support;
• Bill payment support where available;
• Currency conversion support;
• Customer onboarding;
• Identity verification;
• Transaction updates and customer support;
• Other related financial or non-financial services offered from time to time.

6. Customer Information and Identity Verification

To use the Services, you may be required to provide information including:

• Full legal name;
• Date of birth;
• Physical address;
• Phone number;
• Email address;
• Government-issued identification;
• Tax identification number, where required;
• Occupation or business information;
• Source of funds;
• Recipient information;
• Payment information;
• Additional documents requested for compliance purposes.

7. AML, KYC, OFAC, and Compliance Review

Casa do Pix and Transamericas maintain compliance procedures designed to satisfy applicable anti-money laundering, Know Your Customer, sanctions screening, fraud prevention, consumer protection, and money transmission laws.

You agree to cooperate with all compliance reviews.

We may request additional information before, during, or after a transaction. We may delay, reject, cancel, freeze, review, or report a transaction if we believe it may involve:

• Money laundering;
• Terrorist financing;
• Fraud;
• Scams;
• Structuring;
• Sanctions violations;
• False information;
• Unauthorized payment methods;
• Suspicious activity;
• Illegal goods or services;
• Violation of these Terms;
• Violation of applicable law.

8. Authorized Use

You may use the Services only for lawful personal, household, family, or approved business purposes.

You may not use the Services to:

• Violate any law or regulation;
• Send money on behalf of another person without authorization;
• Provide false or misleading information;
• Evade transaction limits;
• Structure transactions to avoid reporting requirements;
• Commit fraud;
• Assist scams or illegal activity;
• Send money related to illegal gambling, illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, trafficking, corruption, bribery, tax evasion, or other unlawful conduct;
• Abuse, threaten, harass, or impersonate any person;
• Interfere with our systems, employees, agents, partners, or service channels;
• Use bots, scraping, automation, or unauthorized access tools;
• Misuse the Casa do Pix or Transamericas brand.

9. Transaction Requests

When you submit a transaction request, you authorize Casa do Pix, Transamericas, their agents, payment processors, financial partners, payout providers, and service providers to process the transaction according to your instructions.

You are responsible for confirming all transaction details before payment, including:

• Sender information;
• Recipient information;
• Recipient bank, Pix, wallet, or payout details;
• Destination country;
• Amount sent;
• Fees;
• Exchange rate;
• Amount to be received;
• Payment method;
• Estimated delivery time.

10. Fees and Exchange Rates

You agree to pay all applicable fees, service charges, taxes, exchange rate spreads, third-party fees, and other costs disclosed to you before or at the time of the transaction.

Exchange rates may change at any time. The final exchange rate applicable to your transaction will be the rate disclosed on your receipt or transaction confirmation, where applicable.

Fees and rates may vary based on:

• Amount sent;
• Destination country;
• Payment method;
• Payout method;
• Service channel;
• Promotions;
• Market conditions;
• Compliance review;
• Partner costs.

11. Payment Authorization

By submitting payment for a transaction, you authorize Casa do Pix, Transamericas, and their payment partners to charge, debit, withdraw, collect, or process the required amount from your selected payment method.

You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

If your payment is rejected, reversed, returned, disputed, charged back, canceled, or found to be unauthorized, you remain responsible for the transaction amount, fees, collection costs, and any losses incurred.

We may suspend your access to the Services until all amounts owed are paid.

12. No Refunds or Cancellations After Payment Is Processed

Once payment has been processed for a remittance transfer, the transaction is generally final and may not be canceled or refunded, except where required by applicable law.

By submitting payment, you understand and agree that Casa do Pix and Transamericas may immediately begin processing the transaction. Once funds have been transmitted, paid out, deposited, picked up, released to the recipient, or otherwise made available, cancellation may not be possible.

Refunds are not available for completed transactions except where required by law, caused by our error, or approved by us in writing.

Nothing in this section limits any cancellation, refund, or error-resolution rights that may apply under federal remittance transfer laws, including the right to cancel certain qualifying remittance transfers within the legally required cancellation period if all legal conditions are met.

13. Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.

Transactions may be delayed due to:

• Compliance review;
• Identity verification;
• Fraud prevention;
• Payment method delays;
• Bank or Pix network delays;
• Payout provider delays;
• Incorrect recipient information;
• Holidays;
• System outages;
• Government restrictions;
• Partner availability;
• Force majeure events.

14. Incorrect Recipient Information

You are responsible for providing accurate recipient information.

Casa do Pix and Transamericas are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or fraudulent recipient details provided by you, including incorrect Pix keys, bank account numbers, names, phone numbers, wallet IDs, email addresses, or payout information.

We may attempt to assist in recovering funds, but recovery is not guaranteed.

15. Fraud and Scam Warning

Never send money to someone you do not know or trust.

Money transfers may be difficult or impossible to recover after processing.

Do not use the Services for:

• Romance scams;
• Emergency family scams;
• Fake investment opportunities;
• Lottery or prize scams;
• Marketplace scams;
• Rental scams;
• Government impersonation scams;
• Immigration scams;
• Fake job offers;
• Requests to send money on behalf of strangers.

16. Transaction Limits

We may establish limits per transaction, per day, per week, per month, per customer, per recipient, per payment method, per service channel, or per destination.

Limits may vary based on customer verification status, transaction history, risk level, compliance review, destination country, and applicable law.

We may change limits at any time.

17. Authorized Agents and Locations

Casa do Pix operates as an authorized agent and registered DBA of Transamericas Services Corporation. Transamericas is the licensed money transmitter.

Only approved and authorized representatives, locations, or agents may offer Casa do Pix or Transamericas services.

You should not conduct transactions with anyone claiming to represent Casa do Pix or Transamericas unless they are authorized by us.

We are not responsible for unauthorized persons, fake agents, impersonators, or third parties acting outside our approved network.

18. WhatsApp and Messaging Communications

Casa do Pix may communicate with you through WhatsApp, SMS, phone, email, website chat, or other messaging channels.

By providing your phone number or contacting us through WhatsApp, you authorize us to communicate with you about:

• Account setup;
• Identity verification;
• Transaction instructions;
• Receipts;
• Transaction status;
• Customer support;
• Compliance requests;
• Promotions, where legally permitted.

25. Intellectual Property

The Casa do Pix name, logo, brand, design, website, content, slogans, graphics, icons, user interface, and related materials are owned by Casa do Pix Financial LLC, Transamericas Services Corporation, or their licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, imitate, or use our intellectual property without written permission.

26. Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on banks, payment processors, payout providers, Pix providers, identity verification vendors, software providers, telecommunications providers, and other third parties.

We are not responsible for third-party delays, outages, restrictions, fees, or service failures except where required by law.

27. No Legal, Tax, Investment, or Financial Advice

Casa do Pix and Transamericas do not provide legal, tax, investment, immigration, accounting, or financial planning advice.

Any information provided through the Services is for general transaction support only.

You should consult your own professional advisors before making legal, tax, financial, business, or immigration decisions.

28. Suspension, Termination, and Refusal of Service

We may suspend, restrict, terminate, or refuse your access to the Services if:

• You violate these Terms;
• You provide false information;
• We cannot verify your identity;
• We suspect fraud or unauthorized activity;
• You abuse employees, agents, customers, or service channels;
• You create legal, compliance, regulatory, fraud, security, or reputational risk;

This includes lost profits, lost business, lost data, loss of goodwill, loss of opportunity, or losses caused by delays, third-party errors, incorrect recipient information, payment reversals, or unauthorized third-party conduct.

Our liability for any transaction-related claim will be limited to the fees you paid for the transaction, except where a different amount is required by law.

30. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, timely, or free of harmful components.

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

31. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Casa do Pix, Transamericas, their owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, service providers, and partners from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your misuse of the Services;
• Your violation of law;
• Your fraud, negligence, or misconduct;
• Information you provide;
• Transactions you initiate;
• Disputes between you and recipients or third parties.

32. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

33. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us first and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties may pursue available remedies in a court of competent jurisdiction in New Jersey, unless another dispute process is required by a separate written agreement or applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief, reporting to regulators, or complying with law enforcement or regulatory requests.
